Hello!
This podcast episode talk about my recent week-long backpacking
trip to Northern Ireland. However, it's less about Northern Ireland
specifically, and more about the practical side of backpacking for
a week in off-season while there are still Covid pandemic
restrictions and admin to contend with. Though I do talk a little
about some of the places and museums I visited. That said, the 'T
word' probably deserves its own podcast at some point so I only
talk about that in passing; indeed I think I mention Parkrun
more.
Topics discussed include:
* Why this podcast episode, and that I have a cold
* Storm Dudley
* Why Northern Ireland
* Backpacker Hostels in Belfast
* Tourist Attractions Not To Visit In Bad Weather
* Booking museums in advance because of Covid
* Being the only person on a museum tour that you book in advance
because of Covid
* Buying bus and train tickets not in advance
* AirBnBs
* Barefoot Parkrunning at Falls Park
* Pubs and cafes and why I have a cold
* Accepting drinks from strangers feels awkward
* It was all rather easy in the end
